Celebrate Canada’s Sesquicentennial in the Blue Mountains

Start your 150 celebrations early on Thursday, June 29th in the Blue Mountains Village!

Being Canadian

In the Blue Mountain Village, Canada turns 150 to live music, Canadian flag cake, guided hiking, family activities and fireworks!

It all starts on Thursday, June 29th with a special screening of the star-studded film “Being Canadian.”

This documentary is incredibly pro-Canadian. A warm, funny, patriotic examination of the greatest (and often most overlooked) country in the world. At the end of the movie, and my journey, the audience will have a much more accurate picture of “us,” and what it is truly like Being Canadian.

The film is scheduled to be introduced by Producer Teza Lawrence on Thursday, June 29th at dusk. Arrive early to explore the Village and grab a snack before pulling up a Muskoka chair for this warm patriotic comedy.
